In this joint offering from photographer Carlie Febo & Lauren Trombino-Walleser of Heronkind, we’ll guide you through a seasonal ritual to connect more deeply with your inner witch followed by a photo shoot to help channel your confidence and magic.
This offering includes:
30-minute exploratory call
60-minute virtual birth chart reading
30-minute in-person tarot reading
60-minute photo shoot in a location that suits your style and passion
Lauren and Carlie will work with you to assess your dreams for the session, including planning the perfect location for your photo shoot. As a lifestyle portrait photographer, Carlie will help you choose somewhere that feels empowering and comfortable (think your home, workspace, or a nearby park). Lauren will help you cultivate a deeper sense of knowing who you are, your gifts and superpowers, and your authentic light. Our goal is to help folks shine and share who they are with the world!

Carlie Febo
Carlie Febo is a creative collaborator, photographer, and storyteller based in Providence, RI and Boston. Since receiving her degree in Photography from Lesley College of Art & Design in 2010 and her Master's degree in Museum Education from Tufts University in 2016, she has worked in multiple art institutions and creative organizations around Boston such as deCordova Sculpture Park and Museum, The Institute of Contemporary Art/Boston, Bow Market, Urbano Project, MassLEAP, and Boston Center for the Arts.
In 2018, Carlie started her own photography small business that she currently runs. Carlie co-founded The Cauldron, a feminist social practice that ran from 2018-2020 and Make Art and Cry, an artist collective with her husband. She has served on the board of poetry nonprofits and managed artists like Adobo-Fish-Sauce. Currently, Carlie champions small businesses at Bow Market through her role as Director of Marketing & Lead Photographer.
Carlie fuses her love of community, art, and photography in all that she does. She approaches her work through the lens of joy, as an active choice. She intentionally captures artists, makers, chefs, small business owners, and everyday people that live their passions loudly each day. Carlie is interested in fostering experiences that focus on self-empowerment and reclamation.

Lauren Trombino-Walleser
Lauren Trombino-Walleser is a queer witch, tarot reader, astrologer, reiki master-teacher, and writer based in Somerville, MA. She created Heronkind Stories & Healing after nearly fifteen years of personal devotion to energy healing and a lifelong passion for magic. Lauren is deeply honored to share these gifts through one-on-one sessions and community events centered on connecting people with their most authentic selves so we can co-create a more loving, just, and pleasurable future together.
Originally from Fort Lauderdale, Florida, Lauren has lived with her wife in the Greater Boston area for over a decade. She has a BA in Creative Writing and Theatre from Florida State University and an MA in Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies from Florida Atlantic University. Before starting her own business, Lauren worked in marketing and communications for a number of organizations, including Simmons University, the Unitarian Universalist Association, and The Brookline Arts Center.
In all of her work, Lauren hopes to inspire people to take care of the Earth, themselves, and each other. Lauren also enjoys spending time snapping photos in the places she calls home. She particularly enjoys birdwatching and hiking through swamps and forests, and is a big fan of feminist and queer art.

60-minute astrology birth chart reading
Join Lauren via Zoom for an in-depth conversation to connect with your Sun, Moon, and Rising signs, gifts, talents, opportunities for growth, and creative superpowers, both personal and professional.
The investment for the session is $888 and includes a two-part experience:
DAY 2 - In-Person
30-minute tarot reading
Join Lauren and Carlie in your photo shoot location for a customized tarot reading & ritual, including crystals, herbs, and other elements based on your needs
60-minute photo session with Carlie
Lauren & Carlie will provide coaching to help you feel comfortable, inspired, and empowered. You’ll receive the photos via a digital gallery within three weeks following the session.
Payment is split into two parts. $444 is due upon booking the virtual session. $444 is then due the week of the photo session. The date and location for the photo session will be scheduled during the initial virtual session.

We would love to work with folks from all backgrounds and demographics who love magic and witchy stuff, are excited and curious about tarot and astrology, and who are ready to take up space and be seen in ways that feel empowering and aligned with your next steps in life. We believe the term “witch” is gender expansive and encourage anyone who is interested to reach out, whether you identify as a witch or not. All levels of experience, from beginners to seasoned pros are welcome. Our hope is that you’ll come away from the session feeling more in touch with your own power and all the beautiful things that make you special. We can’t wait to meet you and make some magic together!

Carlie Febo Photography (CREATOR) retains rights to images and photographs (WORK) created for CLIENT. All images can be used by Carlie Febo Photography and Heronkind Stories & Healing for promotional purposes. The client can of course download and print the images for use. We hope that you will cherish the images and share them far and wide!

Step 1: You’ll email Lauren, who will coordinate a date for her and Carlie to meet with you for the initial Day 1 session on Zoom, including getting to know each other and planning for the photo shoot (to be held on a separate day).
Step 2: You’ll receive a private link to book your Day 1 Zoom session and will pay $444 via the Heronkind website. As part of the booking form, you’ll answer questions about your goals and dreams for the session, and provide information like your full name, date of birth, time of birth, and location of birth, all of which must be received for an accurate astrology reading.
Step 3: You’ll meet with Lauren and Carlie on the chosen date on Zoom to chat and plan, and then in the second half of the call, you’ll do a full birth chart reading with Lauren. Together, we will go over the planets, signs, houses and aspects in your unique natal chart and use them as a tool for self-reflection, spiritual guidance, and motivation for your particular goals and dreams. You’ll receive a written summary of notes on your chart and any intuitive messages that may come through during your session emailed to you within 24 hours after the session.
Step 4: You’ll work with Carlie and Lauren via email to confirm the second Day 2 session, which is the in-person photo shoot, including location, time, and any other details.
Step 5: We’ll all meet in-person for the photo shoot! We’ll begin with a guided meditation and ritual to ground us in the space, a full tarot reading, and then Carlie will take over to lead you through a fun, affirming, and creative session focused on you! Lauren will provide coaching, cheerleading, and creative direction throughout the shoot as well. Our hope is to have a great time and help you feel comfortable so that your images reflect everything you’re hoping to channel into the world!
Step 6: You’ll receive a link to a digital gallery of hi res images and jpgs within three weeks following the session.
We ask for patience as we coordinate schedules among all three of us. Schedule is dependent on availability. We know this can take time, but trust it will be worth the wait!

Two part question with a two part answer: No, the sessions don’t have to be back-to-back on consecutive days and very likely won’t be, and most likely won’t happen on the same day. We want you to really soak up the wisdom that comes through from your astrology reading before we do the photo shoot, which can take time. That said, we know you will be excited and want to get you the images as soon as possible, so please bear with us as we coordinate schedules and find a date for both parts of the offering that will work best. We truly are so excited.
